        This app allows user's to upload media,which can be edited with filters and organized with tags and location information.
 Posts can be shared publicly or with pre-approvaed followers.
After its launched in 2010, Instagram rapidly gained popularity ,with one million 
registered users in two months,
10million in a year and 1 billions of may 2019.
         As of may 2020, the most followed person in Instagram app is footballer Cristiano Ronaldo with over 218 million followers and most followed woman is singer Ariana Grande with over 184 million followers .This app is very secure and unique for the users.

3. Snapchat


Sanpchat is a multimedia messaging app developed by snap 
Inc.one of the principal features of snapchat is that picture and messages are usually only available for a short time before they become inaccessible to their recipents.
          The app has evolved from originally focusing on person- to- person photo sharing to presently featuring users "stories" of 24 hours of chronological content along with discover letting brands.
            Snapchat was created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy,and
Reggie brown,of former student of Stanford university.as of march 2020 snapchat had 229 million daily active users.
 Snapchat is known to be a popular among the younger generation ,perticularly those below the age of 16, leading to many privacy concerns for parents.This app is available in 32 languages.

4. Twitter                          
                       

Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service.users use mobile phones or computers to send and to read message called ,tweets. Tweets can usually be read by anyone.but sender's can also keep message private.private tweets only go to their list of friends.
       Users may subscribeto tweets from other people.this is called following,and subscribers are known as followers.as of late 2009,users can also follow lists of authors.all users can send and receive tweets using the Twitter website.they can also use other applications that work with Twitter on smartphones.
          This app was created by Jack Dorsey ,Evan Williams and biz stone.twitter by short message service SMS available in certain countries.twitter started becoming very popular after the 2007 in India and other countries.

5. Google+ 


Google+ is one of the most used social networking application. It is used for identity service. This network was launched on 28 June 2011. The network use for linking with Google products like Google drive,blogger, YouTube. Somtime it pronounce as G+.
The Google+ was created by Vic Gundotra and Bradley Horowitz . It get 198 million users in 2018 , All over the world.
A Google+ user profile is visible to everyone. The user can attached a cover photo , school history , stetus , interests , etc. But now the service of this application is closed.


6. Linkedin                       

Linkedin is mainly used for professional networking. It is an American business online service which can operate via website or mobile application. this application was launched on 5th May, 2003.
 The peoples who job seekers are post there CVs on LinkedIn.  In May 2020, linkedin had 690+ million registered numbers in 150 countries.
The CEO of LinkedIn is Jeff Weiner.
It gives so many people jobs who are jobless. LinkedIn now , proactive networking site all over the world.

Facebook is also an American online social media and social networking application. It was founded by Mark Zuckerberg. 
We can easily sign with Facebook by giving our phone number or email id and set our password that we want, Facebook is an platform where we can make new friends , post our new photos, comments on another post , we can go live on Facebook to meet our friends .
Facebook was launched on 4th February, 2004. We can login so many games and app through facebook to save our data. Many peoples advertise their products , show their extraordinary talent like cooking, painting, singing etc . Through facebook.

Pinterest is used for image sharing and social media. This application designed to discover an information,
Images, GIFs .
The site of this application is created by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra and Evan sharp .the site had a 300 millions monthly users in August 2019.
The creators behind Pinterest summarized the service as a "catalogue of ideas" that inspires users to "go out and do that thing", although that it is not an image-based "social network". In later years, Pinterest has also been described as a "visual search engine". Uses can follow, unfollow other users. You must go on the site and create your own information , images with your ideas.


9. Facebook massenger


Facebook messenger is commonly known as messenger.
This app is an American messaging app and platform developed by facebook. This app is available in 111 languages.
          The messenger app is separate app to Facebook. The main functions of this app is instant messaging, photo,video sharing ,group chats -users can chat with their Facebook friends and phone book contact.
       After being separated from the main Facebook app, Facebook messenger had 600 million users in April 2015. In march 2020 total messaging traffic increased by 50% in countries that were on quarantine due to the COVID-19 outbreak .

10. Skype           
                
 
    Skype is a telecommunication application that specializes that in providing video chat and voice calls between counters, tablets, mobile devices and samrtwatches over the internet
        In march 2020skype was used by 100 million people on monthly basis and by 40million 
People on a daily basis.that was a 70% increase in number of daily users from the previous month 
due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
        Although Skype,is a commercial product,its free version is used with increasing frequency among teacher, school and charities interested in global education project.This app is available in 108 languages.skype also provides instant messaging services.
         Skype was created by the swede niklas Zeenstrom and Dane Janus friis.This app received award of technology and engineering award .
